Types of Radiation | Physics | the virtual school (by virtualschooluk)

My first solo project on behalf of The Virtual School, an education video on the types of radiation. The video had to be developed using nothing more than Microsoft’s Powerpoint so it can be translated into various languages. It’s amazing to think this animation will be used to educate children across the globe. From an original audio explanation I then produced the visuals and animation you see here. Have a look and maybe even learn something on the types of radiation.

First day at multimedia design company “We are panorama” here in Seville, Spain. Couldn’t have asked for a better company, colleagues, location and work. Right in the heart of Seville opposite the cathedral I’ll be working in all areas of design with a number of clients. The team is around 6-8 strong depending on the day and my first client is aide: psicologia sexologia pareja. A physiologist and sexologist office here in the city. The office environment is amazing and will no doubt upload some early work in the coming weeks.

Seville Bound!!!

So I have just been selected as one of twenty people from across Europe to take part in the Leonardo Da Vinci programme “Project Murillio”. I’m going to be spending the next three months living and working in Seville, Spain. Firstly developing engagement and key knowledge videos for the Virtual School. A platform designed to deliver free word wide education to youngsters across the globe. Secondly I’m going to working with a design company in Seville working on live briefs and developing content with the latest technology…. all in another language. Sounds a little too good to be true all this.

Here is my entry to the Resistance 3 - Get in the game competition run by Sony. I made the shortlist of the final 10. Could have had my face bouncing around Insomniacs resistance 3 but alias it was not to be. The original background photo and 3D creatures are not my own but the composition, editing and down right amazing acting was all me. :)

Only had a few days to develop this animation (it shows). I found the competition quite late on and had to make the deadline. This was going to be the backdrop animation to the animation and I was originally going to cut into this with some live action set pieces. Time constraints played a massive factor but it gives you an idea as to where I was heading.
